Hi,
I'm wondering if it'd be possible to have a new release for some of the
fixes pending.
The main reason I ask is the unicode handling fixes committed not
long after the 5.42 release, as this may affect other users. Gentoo
users noticed it in https://bugs.gentoo.org/861089 because midnight commander
showed incorrect output and I ended up backporting a bunch of the
patches post-release.
There's also the Clang 15 compatibility fix to configure the other day.
What do you think?
Best,
sam
