Makes sense. I have quite a lot of Atari 8-bit-specific magic, so it
should probably have its own file.

Because Atari also made 16-bit computers (the ST, utterly different
from the 8-bit), and various game consoles (2600, 5200, 7800, Lynx,
Jaguar). I'm only concerned with the 8-bit computers (400/800/XL/XE
series).

"atari8" is short for "Atari 8-bit Home Computer". I could call the
file "atari-8bit" instead, if it makes things more clear.
