Hello,

I am writing to kindly bring upstream issue #785 (
https://bugs.astron.com/view.php?id=785) to your attention.

Currently, in Fedora, we are shipping file versions 5.46 and 5.47. We are
eager to rebase all of our active releases to 5.48. We need to move off
5.47 due to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2513643, but we are
currently blocked from going to 5.48 by mentioned issue.

So, I am sending this email as a friendly upvote. If you have some spare
time to take a look into it, I would be very grateful. Once this issue is
fixed, I can proceed with the rebase to file 5.48 across all Fedora
versions and resolve everything in one go.
