Hello,

As the subject says, file-5.48 is now available for download at:

This again is a bug fix release with a couple of minor enhancements and
many magic fixes. The previous version had a serious regression in PR/745,
so this is is a recommended upgrade. See below for the full ChangeLog
since the previous release.
